Accelerate2030, co-launched by the Impact Hub network and the UNDP, is a flagship initiative designed to promote entrepreneurial solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
Circular Economy Zimbabwe is an initiative by Impact Hub Harare, in partnership with other Impact Hubs and the Doen Foundation, aimed at integrating circular economy principles into small and growing businesses, promoting sustainability, innovation, and resource efficiency across various industries.
Funded by the European Union (Horizon 2020 programme), the Enrich in Africa Green Economy Startup Project is designed to support environmentally innovative startups across Africa. The project aims to bring together key stakeholders from Europe and Africa to strengthen the sustainable innovation ecosystem.
Funded by the European Union (Horizon 2020 programme), the Enrich Scaling Programme, implemented by Impact Hub Harare, is designed to support African diaspora entrepreneurs in scaling their ventures back to their home countries. This project aims to bring together key stakeholders from Europe and Africa to strengthen the innovation ecosystem, aligned with SDGs 8, 9, and 17.
MicroWorkspace is a transformative 8-month technical training program designed for unemployed youth aged 18 to 30 and women from disadvantaged backgrounds in Zimbabwe.
In partnership with UNDP, the Ministry of Industry, The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and Plan International, this initiative aligns with SDGs 1, 4, and 8.
The Digital Skills 4 Youth project is a transformative 3-year initiative (2023-2025) aimed at equipping 1,680 young individuals in Zimbabwe with essential digital and entrepreneurship skills. Implemented across five locations, the project focuses on empowering youth, particularly young women, through a tiered approach that includes basic, intermediate, and advanced digital skills training, alongside soft skills and entrepreneurship education.
Youth Connekt is an impactful program designed to empower young entrepreneurs by providing them the necessary resources and mentorship to fuel their innovative ventures. In partnership with UNDP Zimbabwe, the initiative has trained over 1,000 youth across all ten provinces of Zimbabwe, selecting 30 promising startups for intensive mentorship. These startups received non-monetary resources valued at $100,000, with 10 startups awarded prize money of $5,000 each.
