Carol Wogrin Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist with a background in nursing and has been working with children adolescents adults and families coping with illness trauma, bereavement and other life challenges for over 40 years. In addition to providing direct care she has worked with national and international organizations to improve systems of care for vulnerable populations and capacity building of care providers in resource constrained areas on both community and national levels. Dr Wogrin has extensive experience with program development curriculum development and teaching including undergraduating graduate students and continuing education for professionals.

Formerly the Director of the national Center for Death Education Mount Ida College in the USA and the Clinical Instructor in Psychology Department of Psychiatry Harvard Medical School she spent 2012 as a Fulbright scholar at Women’s University in Africa, Harare, Zimbabwe.

Since that time she has been working in Zimbabwe and other Southern and Eastern African countries assisting organizations in addressing gaps in programming and service delivery to improve the quality and consistency of their services to vulnerable populations with an emphasis on care provided to children and adolescents living with HIV. In 2002 she relocated back to the USA and continued her work in Zimbabwe remotely
