Founders Live
Established in Seattle, USA, Founders Live is an unforgettable happy hour competition where up to five handpicked companies take the hot seat, with only 99 seconds to pitch their company and describe their value proposition in front of an eager audience. After the pitches and audience Q&A, the crowd votes on a winner who will not only receive an award, but recognition from the crowd as well as the opportunity to talk more about their product or service. Founders Live Harare officially launched on October 26, 2018. It is a bi-monthly event and brings the best start-ups in Zimbabwe to the forefront allowing them to grow and market their products/services to a global audience.
FuckUp Nights
FuckUp Nights is a global movement that takes place every month in more than 200 cities in more than 70 countries around the world. In each chapter, three or four speakers share their stories of failure. It can be a professional, business, or project failure. No excuses, just the fuckups. It is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to learn from each other’s mistakes as there is a lesson in every story and even more so in the stories that are rarely told, the stories of failure. FUN Nights doesn’t attempt to celebrate failure, it celebrates the people who have failed and have stood back up to keep fighting. We celebrate that perseverance, with a drink in hand, and above all else, we have FUN doing it.
